After working on a large-scale community needs assessment project with the regional planning authority in Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer spent many years leading publicly funded nonprofit agencies and professional provider organizations in Ohio and here in Marin.
Recently, she made the shift to her second career as a licensed marriage and family therapist, with private practice offices in Mill Valley and San Anselmo.
Jennifer has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley; a master’s in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University and a master’s in Counseling, also from Ohio State.
“In 2019, I jumped at the chance to be a get involved in what has become the Friends of the North-South Greenway. I’m excited about what we can accomplish by improving the multi-use path, also known as the North-South Greenway. Longer term, Alto Tunnel would also make a huge improvement for Marin riders of all ages and persuasions, increasing riding, reducing driving, and improving road safety. I’m excited to work for the success of this important local initiative!”

Andrew has been riding in Mill Valley since he got his first bike when he was four years old. While a student at Old Mill School, he delivered the Marin Independent Journal from canvas bags lashed to his BMX bike.
Love of the outdoors led to an interest in water and an education in Civil Engineering. Andrew has worked for EBMUD, the water utility for the East Bay, for 29 years, currently serving as the Manager of Information Systems for the organization.
He commutes to his job in Oakland by bicycle and is keenly aware of the strengths and weaknesses of Marin’s bicycle infrastructure. He saw his three children, now college students, struggle to be independent and explore their world on a bicycle due to these issues. Andrew hopes to be able to help improve safety and support green transportation options for future generations of Marin citizens.
“The North-South Greenway is an amazing continuous series of multi-use pathways leading from Sausalito to Sonoma County. Many other parts of the country have built similar beautiful rail-to-trail pathways and they lead to a safer, happier, and healthier community. I look forward to the day when the North-South Greenway is complete, well-known through Marin and the Bay area, and for opening of the Alto Tunnel when resources are available.”

“I would like to see the North-South Greenway completed to strengthen the connections between communities, to make it easier to get around without needing to drive, and to contribute to efforts reducing our carbon footprint while giving more options for everyone to travel around Marin County, San Francisco, and the Bay Area.”
